PARTICIPATORY PUBLIC SPEAKING TRAINING SEMINARS

For many individuals, the fear of public speaking is one of the greatest fears they will experience, yet for anyone who wishes to succeed in business, or to be highly effective in a position of leadership, the ability to speak well before others is essential.

Our public speaking programs will help you realize that anyone can be a good public speaker, and that the stage fright or fear that you are experiencing can actually make you a better speaker. You will come to understand that fear is in fact essential to enhancing your presentation, and that everyone experiences it to some degree. Thought of differently, fear in fact heightens your reflexes, energy level and awareness of your surroundings, which in turn can help you be a better speaker.

The participatory programs offered by Mr. Reuter will provide instructional help understanding how to effectively use both verbal and non-verbal forms of communication. You will learn how and why your non-verbal body language is communicating a far stronger message than your words will ever communicate, and how to use that non-verbal communication to ensure your message is clear.

More importantly there will be a practical application of these new skills to public speaking situations. You will have the opportunity to apply what you have learned, and receive immediate video feedback, as well as positive corrective analysis, which will help reinforce what you have learned.

The participatory program is not magical, it does not promise that you will upon completion be a great speaker; rather the program is designed to take speakers at different levels and tailor the instruction so as to make each participant a more effective and persuasive speaker, who will also have the tools to continue improving. The program will help you

  1. Identify your strengths and weaknesses
  2. Build on your strengths
  3. Learn to overcome weaknesses
  4. Reduce and refocus your anxiety, and
  5. Build confidence in your speaking abilities.

Though not essential to the program, it is most effective when a team or group of associates attend the training together, since the programs are also designed to teach the entire team how to assist each other to continually improve.

  • Training seminars are provided to small groups of 8 to 12 people, with a strong focused approach to improving each participants speaking skills
  • Convenient on location presentations.
  • Individual presentations are recorded and each participant will get to view that presentation and receive an in-depth follow-up to guide them in how to reach their specific goals for improvement.

Mr. Reuter's primary focus area for presenting programs is the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. However special arrangements can be made for other geographical regions.
